About the book

A calmer conversation about children and technology

Beyond the Panic is for the people who feel the stakes of children’s technology use and want a more useful way to respond.

The goal is not less care. It is more clarity about what care can look like.

A book for the real world

Better questions make room for better choices.

Why this work exists

A different way forward

This project begins with a simple belief: worry can be a signal without becoming the whole story. Parents, educators, and school leaders deserve evidence, context, and practical ways to make better choices together.

Meet the author

Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor spent 28 years in public education as a teacher, a building administrator, and a district administrator. He and his wife raised three daughters through the same technology transformation now reshaping every classroom, home, and office. Along the way, he learned firsthand what makes a program actually help kids thrive, and what quietly works against them. Beyond the Panic reflects that lived experience, unpacked through years of research.
